God’s Covering

Psalm 91:4
“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”

To know and realize that the Lord God is covering us with His feathers is so comforting. Where else can we hide but under His all mighty and everlasting wings. The Lord will never leave us without His protection. His truth is our shield and buckler.

God’s promises are completely true and will never fail. Hebrews 13:8 says “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Great is His faithfulness to us humans. Lamentations 3:21-23 says “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Even when we turn away from Him, He is watching us and makes a way for us to return to Him and be protected by Him. In Revelation 22:13 we read “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”. God, who created the earth and everything in it, is the same God in us today and forever. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Let us go with God and sense His covering in our lives!
