WAIT on the Lord

Isaiah 40:29-31

29He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

God promises to give power to the faint and strength to the weak. The faint and the weak are the people who lack courage, vigor and strength. It is easy to lose courage and vigor and end up in a state of disappointment when going through a tough battle. Cast all your fears and weaknesses upon Him and bank on His promises. One of His wonderful promises for you is in Isaiah 40:29-31.

Even the youth shall faint, get weary and will utterly fall. But His promise to keep the faint and the weak will not fail. The key is to WAIT ON THE LORD! Waiting on the Lord means to stay where you are in expectation that the Lord will come through. You will mount up with wings as eagles, you shall run and not be weary, and you shall walk and not faint. Even when you are faint and weak, if you wait on the Lord, He will shower you with His strength and might to be on your life’s journey. Eagle’s wings represent the power to fly high and sustain strong wind currents or storms. When you mount up on wings like eagles, God will help you fly high above the wind currents or storms in your life. Are you ready to wait on the Lord your God and grab His precious promises for you?
