Harvest is Plenty, Workers are Few

Matthew 9:37,38
37Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

There is a lot of harvest to reap before Christ’s return. God’s desire is that none should perish but all should come to repentance as it says in II Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Now how is God's desire accomplished? God uses us, who are His instruments to accomplish this. But how many of us are His laborers or ready to be His laborers? Truly, the harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Let us pray that Lord will send forth His laborers into this plenteous harvest. We are here to advance His kingdom. Are you a laborer for Christ? If not it is time to be one.
